October 2025 Sydney with Frans Steine

photographed in Kyoto, Japan November 2024 with Hyakuten Inamoto
I’ve had the honour of teaching Reiki through the International House of Reiki for over a decade. During this time, I’ve supported many students on their path of self-discovery and healing, and I continue to feel deeply committed to those within this lineage. Whether you’re looking to revisit a class, reconnect with the teachings, or continue into the Shinpiden level, I’m here to walk alongside you.
In more recent years, I’ve also had the privilege of training in the system of Komyo ReikiDo—a traditional Japanese approach to Reiki that places great emphasis on spiritual deepening through daily practice. My journey began with Sally Wain, representative of International Komyo ReikiDo and founder of Komyo ReikiDo Melbourne. I was humbled to first meet Sensei Hyakuten Inamoto, founder of Komyo ReikiDo, at a Reiki conference in Sydney in 2015. Since then, I’ve trained with him in Melbourne and, most recently, in Japan, where we climbed Mount Kurama—the birthplace of Reiki and where Mikao Usui is said to have attained enlightenment (Satori).
In addition to my work with people, I’ve also trained in Reiki with animals, offering workshops that support Reiki practitioners in deepening their intuitive connection with animals. These workshops are grounded in Reiki principles and focus on presence, sensitivity, and co-creating healing spaces guided by the animals themselves.
I am now honoured to offer teachings from both the International House of Reiki and Komyo ReikiDo, as well as animal-focused workshops, to my existing students and to all who feel called to explore Reiki—whether as a spiritual path, a daily practice, or a way to live with greater compassion and presence.
If you’re curious or unsure about which lineage or path is right for you, or feel drawn to both, please feel free to reach out. I’m here to support you in discovering the way that speaks most deeply to your heart.

A Japanese Reiki Art
All classes are held privately where you get to choose a date and time that suits your busy lifestyle.
| System | Levels | Emphasis |
|---|---|---|
| Komyo Reiki Dō | 4 levels | Healing + Spiritual Development + Non~ duality |
| IHR (Frans Stiene) | 3 levels | Meditation + Spiritual Development + Healing + Mantras +Non-duality |
If you’re comparing the two for study or teaching purposes, it’s helpful to note that both emphasize Reiki as a spiritual path, ~ IHR tends to go deeper into non-dual meditation and internal cultivation, while Komyo Reiki Dō remains grounded in Reiki as a spiritual healing art with structured levels for transmission.
